Lebanese Falafel Burgers

Lebanese Falafel Burgers

with No Comments

Healthy and quick burgers inspired by Lebanese flavours. This recipe came about from craving both a burger and falafel’s. We decided to combine the two to make an easy meal that could be enjoyed in under 20 minutes. A typical falafel recipe includes garlic, chickpeas, fava beans and parsley, we used this as inspiration to create our own.

1 can of Chickpeas

2 small Onions

2 Garlic Cloves

Bunch of Coriander

Juice of 1 Lime

Salt & Pepper

1 tsp Cumin Seeds

1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper

1/2 cup of Walnuts

2 tbsp Plain Flour

3 tbsp Olive Oil

  • Mix all ingredients in a food processor (excluding the plain flour)
  • Empty mixture into a bowl and mix in the plain flour
  • Once combined, shape into even sized burgers
  • Heat up a frying pan with olive oil
  • Place burgers into frying pan and cook evenly on both sides for 3 minutes
